Michael Bernstein, MD

Dr. Bernstein earned his medical degree at University of Connecticut Medical School in Farmington, CT and completed his residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT.  He has been in private practice in the Enfield area since 1987.  He is board certified in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.  Dr. Bernstein is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and neck surgery, and a member of the Tolland County Medical Association and the Connecticut State Medical Society.  He is affiliated with Johnson Memorial Medical Center, Johnson Surgery Center, St. Francis Hospital, The Connecticut Surgery Center and ECHN in Manchester.

Brian Knox

Brian Knox is an ASHA certified, CT licensed audiologist with over 20 years’ experience working with both children and adults. Brian Knox, MS/CCC-A, previously worked at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat hospital in New York City and was also employed at Children's Medical Center for over 10 years in Hartford, CT. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his graduate degree from Columbia University. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Audiology and is certified by the American speech, language and hearing association.

Directions:  From 91 North or South take Exit 47E onto Hazard Avenue.  Continue down Hazard Avenue and take a right at the light where you see the sign for 142.  We are located in that complex, building number 146 on the second floor in suite 204.

For Your First Visit:

If you have had any prior imaging, hearing testing, lab results, Dr. notes, etc. that will help with the problem that you are being seen for, please have them faxed to us prior to your visit at 860-763-3244.  

If you take medications, please bring a list with you so we may copy it for your chart

Our office accepts most insurance plans as well as Medicare and Medicaid.  Please call our office to verify your insurance carrier.

You will need to bring your insurance card with you for your visit and also obtain any referral from your Primary Care and/or your Insurance Company for a specialist visit.  Talk with your primary care doctor’s office prior to your visit to see if this is required by your plan and if so, they will need to submit a referral to your insurance company.
